Born in London in June 1969, Nikki Neave left school at 16 to work as an office junior in a small theatrical agency run by Joy Jameson.

She has worked in various areas of artist management ever since, pausing only to have two beautiful sons, now 9 and 12, with actor Brett Fancy. She is based in Brighton.

Her experience in theatre, comedy and music management goes back some twenty years, from the early days with Joy Jameson, to a year representing actors and comedians as part of The Noel Gay Organisation and then an 8 year stint with John Reid Enterprises working closely with artists as diverse as Elton John, Billy Connolly, Barry Humphries, and multi-award winning Jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine.

Some 15 years since they first met at John Reid Enterprises, she continues to manage Courtney through Collaboration, the management company she set up in 1996.

In 2004 she joined Komedia Entertainment (sister company of Brighton's award winning Komedia venue) as a freelance management consultant and alongside director Richard Daws was responsible for all areas of artist development and for expanding the existing client base. During this period, the company enjoyed particular success, most notably the commissioning of Count Arthur Strong's debut BBC Radio 4 show (now in it's 3rd series) and a number of awards (Joanna Neary, Perrier nominated for Best newcomer in 2004, Count Arthur Strong awarded the Performers Jacket 2005 and Gamarjobat Best International Act Brighton Fringe 2006 & 2007.

Through her management of Courtney Pine and recent work with Komedia Entertainment she has developed ideas and worked on various projects for television (BBC2, BBC4, CH4), Radio (BBC R2,R3,R4 and secured funding for and co-produced a children's animated film featuring Maxi Jazz (Faithless).
